For first-time buyers, a mortgage relator is basically the person who stops you from losing your mind mid-process. Because bank guys talk like you already know everything. The relator I worked with literally sat and explained what “sanction”, “disbursement”, “pre-EMI”, “MOD”, “legal + valuation” actually means in normal words. Biggest help wasn’t even the rate. it was the step-by-step. Like what document is needed when, what the bank will ask next, and where things usually get stuck. Without that, you keep thinking something is wrong when it’s just the bank being the bank.
