Honestly, it's a little strange to me that this is not becoming a bigger talking point.
So many buyers are openly protesting at Vasavi Urban in Bachupally, saying construction is badly delayed and handovers keep getting pushed, but outside those buyer groups hardly anyone seems to be discussing it properly. People have already paid 70-80 lakhs per flat in many cases, and from what buyers are saying that was almost 90% payment done by 2022 itself. After paying that much, still waiting like this is not a small issue.
They were expecting handover from January 2024, then again delay, again no clear timeline. Same complaints keep coming, slow progress, vague replies, no proper clarity from Vasavi Group. And this is not even the first time buyers came out and protested. There was already another protest earlier too. So why is this still being treated like some small matter?
This is a massive project also, not one tiny standalone building. 12 towers, 23 floors each, thousands of units across nearly 18 acres. So many families are involved here. People booked because it looked like a big branded township project and many would have trusted the developer name. Now buyers are stuck in this in-between stage where money is mostly gone but possession is not coming.
Maybe I am missing something, but why is nobody seriously talking about this? When a project gets delayed this much after buyers have already paid such huge amounts, it should be all over discussion groups, local property circles, everywhere. Instead only the affected buyers seem to be shouting while the rest are quiet.
Something feels very off here.
Same thing I was thinking. Project this big, thousands of flats, and still only the buyers are talking about it. Outside people acting like nothing happening.
My friend actually booked here in 2021. At that time everyone was saying good project, good location etc. Now he is completely stressed about the delays.
This is already the second protest right? I remember seeing videos late last year also.
