Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) recently criticized Congress leader Revanth Reddy for making false claims about the decline in Hyderabad’s real estate market. According to KTR, these negative statements are damaging the city's reputation, potentially affecting future investments.
Hyderabad’s real estate market has seen significant growth in recent years. For example, in 2023, Hyderabad ranked as one of the top cities for real estate investment in India, with property prices in prime areas growing by 8-10% annually. Additionally, the city has experienced a surge in demand for both residential and commercial spaces, driven by its booming IT sector, which has attracted global companies.
KTR emphasized that Hyderabad is a global investment hub due to its robust infrastructure, modern amenities, and high demand in sectors like IT and pharmaceuticals. He argued that fear-mongering and political negativity could hurt investor confidence, slowing down the real estate sector, which contributes significantly to the local economy.
KTR urged political leaders to focus on promoting positive growth rather than spreading falsehoods. He reassured citizens and investors that the Telangana government is committed to keeping Hyderabad on track as a major business and real estate destination.
Despite political tensions, Hyderabad remains one of the top real estate markets in the country, with demand continuing to rise, especially in areas like Gachibowli, Hitec City, and Kondapur. This makes it clear that the city's growth trajectory is strong, regardless of political distractions.
