Is the new industrial-land conversion policy a good sign for East Hyderabad property investment?

Hey all,

I'm considering buying a small 2/3BHK in a gated community in East Hyderabad for investment purposes, specifically in the Uppal or Nacharam areas. With the government's new decision to allow old industrial lands to be changed into residential or commercial spaces, I’m curious about the real impact on the area.

Is this truly a long-term benefit or just temporary hype?

Could this result in better infrastructure and property value increases, or will it cause oversupply and more traffic?

I’d really like to hear from those who already live or invest there.

It’s a good move overall. Those industrial pockets were dead zones anyway.

Metro Phase-2 + land conversion together can reshape Uppal. But choose established gated communities or reputed builders—early-stage layouts near ex-industrial plots can suffer dust/traffic for years.
