Impact of AI takings jobs on Real Estate Growth in Hyderabad

Hyderabad RE and the IT belt mood (Gachibowli-Hitec-FD side) kinda grow hand in hand, so when people say “AI will take jobs” I don’t imagine some sudden crash, more like fewer new folks relocating + less “easy” job switching. If that happens, I guess first thing you notice is rentals on the smaller stuff (1-2BHKs, shared flats, those investor units in Kondapur/Manikonda/Madhapur) getting a bit slower, like not empty forever, but owners stop acting like they can increase rent every 6 months am I overthinking this or anyone else seeing that?

On the other hand, companies are still around and GCCs keep coming, and some of those teams are literally AI/analytics types, so it’s confusing. Maybe it shifts the demand rather than killing it? Like fewer entry-level tenants but higher paid niche folks still renting/buying premium? Or maybe I’m just reading too many doom posts online. How do you guys see it playing out in Hyd? Which segments actually feel “AI job risk” and which ones don’t?

AI won’t reduce jobs, it’ll change jobs. Hyd is fine.

Could be, I’m not saying doom. But even a slowdown in hiring hits rentals right? Like fewer new joiners = fewer tenants. Or do you think it’s offset by people moving from other cities to Hyd?

Should I avoid investing now?

I don’t know dude, I’m not qualified to say “do/avoid” I’m just trying to understand if the risk is real for rental-focused investors. Anyone here actually tracking vacancy/rent trends month to month?
