Netflix’s new Hyderabad base: real boost for HITEC housing or just hype?:

Netflix has just leased about 41,000 square feet at CapitaLand ITPH in HITEC City. This will be their second base in India, following Mumbai. The focus will be on post-production, visual effects, and tech operations. Hyderabad is clearly attracting more GCC and creative tech companies lately, including McDonald's, Qualcomm, and Goldman. However, I wonder if a lease like this actually affects housing demand or rent near HITEC or Financial District, or if it is just noise for now.
